Lot 140 - Antique Uncased Tintype Photograph Of Young Man Athlete Posed Barefoot In Sleeveless Outfit

Antique uncased tintype photograph depicting a young man standing barefoot with arms crossed, posed before a simple backdrop with rustic wooden supports visible behind him. The subject wears a sleeveless top and knee-length trousers, suggesting a posed studio or informal setting rather than formal portrait attire.

The tintype is offered loose, without a case or protective housing. Surface wear, scratching, oxidation, and tonal unevenness are present throughout. Edge wear and small losses are visible, consistent with age, handling, and exposure. Overall condition typical for an uncased tintype of this period.
