Desert Strike Return to the Gulf - Super Nintendo

Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf is a Super Nintendo shoot’em up from Electronic Arts centered on helicopter combat missions. The game focuses on precision strikes against airfields, tank forces, missile sites, and naval targets across a military campaign.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Action gameplay combines aerial firepower with mission-based objectives rather than simple scrolling combat.
• Features 27 dangerous missions leading toward a final showdown against the Madman’s forces.
• Mission objectives include destroying a missile silo, attacking airfields, and breaking out imprisoned diplomats and hostages in Embassy City.
• Hydra Rockets provide the main offensive punch for taking down armored targets and military installations.
• Cinematic sequences and battle scenes support the campaign between strike missions.

The SNES version presents the series’ helicopter strike formula with a mix of rescue operations, timed destruction objectives, and battlefield target prioritization. Its Gulf conflict setting gives the game a specific early-1990s military action identity within the Super Nintendo library.
